One platform, two distinct journeys.

lufthansagroupcareers-traineehub

The Lufthansa Group's trainee programmes lived as separate experiences with different structures and identities. The brief was to merge them into one platform — but the harder problem was that they aren't really comparable: different departments, different paths, different audiences. So the goal wasn't to flatten them into one mould. The information architecture had to give each programme its own clear journey while sharing a single visual language and navigation — unified enough to feel like one place, distinct enough that neither programme got forced into the other's shape. The challenge wasn't inventing something new, but bringing existing structures together without losing what made each one specific. Role: Senior UI Designer // Responsibilities: UX, UI Design, Design System

The information architecture gives each programme its own clear path while sharing one navigation and visual language — distinct journeys that still feel like a single place.

Merging two programmes wasn't about making them look the same — it was about making them belong in one place without losing what set each apart.
