Designing a scalable foundation for a growing mobility experience.

hvv switch

Designing a scalable foundation for a growing mobility experience. The project began as a workshop to rethink the hvv switch dashboard. Testing the existing version surfaced the core problem: users didn't fully grasp it, and many didn't realise they could scroll for more — key content went unseen. That reframed the work. A configurable, widget-based dashboard let users prioritise what mattered to them — and in testing it landed strongly: people valued the control, and the colour-coded categories made the interface instantly easier to parse. Working in parallel, I developed the initial visual direction that became the starting point for redesigning the entire app — rolled out across every screen and backed by a comprehensive design system. As Senior UI Designer, I shaped that visual language and the system beneath it. Role: Senior UI Designer // Responsibilities: UI Design, Design System

Visit App

A comprehensive design system brought the new direction into a shared foundation — guidelines that kept widgets, components, and patterns consistent as the product grew.

Users arrange widgets to suit their own routine — pinning what they check daily, setting aside what they don't.

What began as one dashboard ended up reshaping the whole app. The strongest systems don't just hold a product together — they give it somewhere to go.
